Benevolence Ministry

The primary purpose of the benevolence ministry is to assist people in times of need as the hands and feet of Christ. Though meeting physical needs does not directly accomplish the Great Commission, we recognize that it is often a doorway to do so. As a result, our commitment is to minister to the whole person, whether it be a physical, emotional, or spiritual need that arises.

Assistance begins with a one-on-one appointment with our ministry assistant. Call (972) 226-7105 between the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM to schedule an appointment. All documentation is reviewed by the committee, and authorization is granted based on availability. On a case-by-case basis, the applicant may be directed to seek assistance provided by the local, state, or federal agencies. The Vale reserves the right to provide or refuse support based on information provided and knowledge of each situation.

Application Process

Download and complete the Benevolence Assistance Form.  Return the completed form to the church office with a copy of your current bill/invoice/rental agreement etc. (with contact information), current driver’s license and social security numbers for each family member.  Incomplete applications are not processed.  Documentation complies with internal audit purposes.
